Carrot Cake Smoothie

This smoothie tastes like a dreamy dessert, but the truth is, it will keep me full for 4-6 hours. I kid you not! And, it’s totally healthful without all the added sugar and junk most “healthy” smoothies have. ZIt's a spin on one of Kelly Leveque's Body Love smoothies - if you haven't checked out her book, I highly recommend it.


Carrot Cake Smoothie

1 Serving

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 tbsp almond butter

  • 1 tbsp flax seed

  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder (use a high quality brand - check the sugar/carb content!)

  • 1/2 cup frozen carrots (I use the crinkle cut ones in the freezer section)

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon


Blend, blend, blend! Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and enjoy!




*If you like your smoothies a little thicker, add a handful of ice cubes. If you like them more on the runny side, skip the ice.
